Having lived in Australia for almost 10 years, I personally saw the space saving benefits of pocket doors and how precious these would be for buildings in Ireland. For example, the sitting room/kitchen combo, small bathrooms, utility rooms and floor to ceiling invisible track pocket doors (focal pieces) which can give the illusion of a moving or still wall.
