A PocketDoor is a sliding door that, when fully open, disappears into a compartment in the
adjacent wall. PocketDoors have featured since the 1800’s but are resurging due to their space
saving qualities but also for architectural effect.

• They are practical because they save valuable floor space by eliminating the room
  needed for traditional doors to swing open.
• They fit into any look from traditional to contemporary – they can be simple or ornate with
  modern hardware, stain, frosted or stained glass inserts.
• They can create a private area within a larger space.
• They can act as a blank canvas for art, revealed when suits.
• PocketDoors can be a stunning architectural element that can be a focal point.

Anywhere you like but normally are used in living/dining rooms, separate living areas, bathrooms,
laundry areas, offices, mudrooms, hallway into kitchen, kitchen concealed walls, walk in
wardrobes, secret doors and as focal pieces.

• Measure the space
• Assess wall type
• Remove the old door and frames
• Install new header and then the pocket door slider kit
• Build new adjacent stud wall
• Relocate existing sockets into new stud wall
• Install PocketDoor/s on track
• Plasterboard the stud wall
• Install new door frames around the PocketDoor/s and install handles and edge pulls
• Install and fit new architraves and skirting boards
• Plaster partition wall and fit coving if required
• Remove all waste
• Leave site in a clean condition.

*All work is carried out to an exceptionally high end finish.

Approximately 150mm/15cm – little space lost in comparison to what is gained ie more space
without traditional doors swinging out or causing obstruction.

with added soft close finishings. You can also choose your desired handles.

The installation process takes two and half (2.5) days.

50% on day one and remainder 50% on completion of required work. Price and payment details
provided on all quotes. Payments can be made via electronic transfer.
